Using carefully selected white sesames, production processes of this sesame oil has never changed since foundation of our company. Sesame professionals completes production process by determining the very best timing that gives the sesame oil the very best flavor depending on various factors such as season and weather.
The production process from roasting to squeezing, washing with hot water, letting it stand, and refining takes about a month all together. We’ve been making this classic sesame oil this way for about 80 years without any modification in any steps. We squeeze sesames only once; never twice or three times. Only the first squeezed sesames become sesame oil of HENKO, meaning the determined in Japanese, YAMADA.
We don’t use any additives or chemicals or what so ever at all. We never cheat on any of the steps in our production process. It’s completly handmade.
